Anna

Although Anna Tanis was born in Greenville, SC, she grew up around the world. Her father, Bob Vallier, is an itinerant evangelist who completed internal audits for churches and ministries. She loved growing up in such a unique home, as she was able to observe and often take part in many ministries of many churches.

Because of traveling year-round, she was in Ohio when she accepted Christ as her Savior, Easter Sunday, 1997. She dedicated her life to full-time ministry during a VBS in 6th grade, when she adopted Galatians 2:20 as her life’s verse.

Anna was homeschooled through her elementary years and later graduated from Bob Jones Academy. Knowing God wanted her in ministry, she enrolled at Ambassador Baptist College. During her four years as a Bible and Elementary Education major, she was heavily involved in many children’s, music, and evangelistic ministries of the local church she attended.

During the four years of Luke’s seminary training, the Lord allowed Anna to fulfill a life-long dream of becoming a 1st-2nd grade teacher at St. Francis Christian School, a ministry of their sending church. She enjoys teaching and playing piano, but above all Anna loves being mom to their son, Theodore.

Luke

Luke grew up in Wisconsin, where his dad served first as a Youth Pastor and currently as a Camp Director. Luke went to a Christian school through seventh grade, and was then homeschooled through high school. Luke accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of five through the ministry of a Vacation Bible School teacher and his dad.

The summer after sixth grade, Luke accepted the call to dedicate his life to full-time ministry while at Camp Northland in Dunbar, Wisconsin.  After graduating from high school, he went on for further training at Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown, Wisconsin.  There he received a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies with a minor in Business.  He most recently earned his Master of Divinity from Central Baptist Theological Seminary, in Plymouth, MN.

Since August 2014, Luke has been serving in the Timothy Mentor Program and serving on the Pastoral team at First Baptist Church of St. Francis.
